Hingham Aug 2nd

Post by kayakerjnj »

Hi all,

Looks like it should be a great afternoon to hit the water for an after work paddle.

Please let us know if you're planning to paddle and whether or not you wish to join us for PPR.

Stars has a 6 person minimum, so if we know ahead of time, we can make reservations.

See you soon!

Approximate 5 PM Launch Time

I’ll be there. PPR too.

May I suggest we paddle into the Weir river this time. Not sure if we have done that this year, and it is a very pretty paddle...

High tide is at 4:03, right? So if you are talking about heading all the way up-river, the flow may be outgoing by the time we get there. Not sure how strong it gets at that constricted area. Just a thought...

If you're talking about just going to the other side of World's End, a few of us did that on a windy night, but we only went as far as the skinny part of World's End and we portaged over.

Kit and I are both planning to paddle but it is unlikely that we can stay for PPR. Must feed dogs that will be ravenously hungry by 7 pm.
