Post by Birdseye »

I got this from the NSRWA RiverNet Newsletter

This might be interesting. Anyone else want to go?

The South Shore is home to over 150 species of wild edible plants, many of which are more nutritious and/or flavorful than their cultivated counterparts. Join expert forager Russ Cohen, author of the recently published book, Wild Plants I Have Known...and Eaten, on a two hour ramble through the grounds of the Science Center to learn about two dozen edible wild plant species.
There is no charge for this program but we ask that you preregister by calling the South Shore Natural Science Center at 781-659- 2559. Directions to the South Shore Natural Science Center can be found at www.ssnsc.org.
