Exumas - Lee Stocking Island, Thursday, March 27, 2014

Post by norm »

After 2 days on Normans Pond Cay, the wind shifted around and we were able to move on to Twin Beach on Lee Stocking Island. The wind was still strong, but we were in the shade of Islands most of the paddle. At Twin Beach, there was a nice trail across a thin part of the island that allowed us to visit the ocean side where the views were dramatic. The Marshfield Mariner Newspaper did a story from the Exuma trip this week. Here is the link to the photo gallery they posted on their website. I'll try and find the write-up about the trip on the website as well. For those of you who have a hardcopy of the newspaper the story was on page 17 this week.
