Surfing at the Spit SUNDAY 8 1 10 9am launch from Driftway

Post by wildwoman »

Low tide Sunday 8 1 10 at Scituate Harbor is 9:59 am and high is at 4:17

How about going out of the Driftway lauch at 9am on Sunday 8 1 10 and heading back around 12 noon for a 12:30 takeout?

Surf report is for 1' surf. Bad news if you want to surf, but good news if you're not so sure you want to surf. It will be small. Supposed to be building as the day goes on, so you might want to try the evening instead....

We went out in the evening, armed with picnic dinner and a demo boat. Very puny surf. Excellent dinner. Beautiful sunset. Pretty nice demo boat. Awful skeeters at the parking lot.

I'm lobbying for the pink Explorer LV for Kate. Would we stand out as the sickeningly cute couple or what? Me with the tiger-striped orange Explorer, her with the pink one...

I'm waiting for you to have matching outfits as well.

And paddles - but that would be going too far

Instead of a rubber duckie to fasten to the bow, I would get her one of these:
