Yes, the ramp next to Quincy Yacht Club on Houghs Neck is closed on weekdays due to construction of a new ramp. I believe you can use it on weekends, and on weekdays after 4:00 PM, but I would check with the Quincy Police Marine Unit to be sure.

Taran 18 SOLD
In excellent condition, except for a few scuffs from a couple of rocks - not very noticeable and one spot with some local gell coat crazing. This is the newer version of the Taran 18 so it has a day hatch and the new seat (the original didn't have a day hatch - what were they thinking?). This Taran ...

Fabulous report and photos, Norm. I guess I'll have to get out there sometime. It looks like a fun area to explore. Norm, I like to have a little extra length to either put some extra clothes in bottom to keep them warm, or to make it easier to get my feet out if they are hot. Norm, Buzzards Bay is known for chop and afternoon wind. I lived down there for many years and my husband and I had a formula for figuring out the wind speed. You do not need a snug fit in a drysuit, in fact a snug fit is not such a great idea. You should make sure that you can get the drysuit on and off by yourself over a base and fleece layer.
