Re: 2010 Fair Weather Paddling Goals

I would just like to make the thursday night gatherings. Last season I always had to work.

I would also like to see some flatwater rides down the cape. It is so beautiful there.

I want to learn where the launch places are.

Who are you?

I met a few of you WTP last week. I really felt welcomed. I enjoyed meeting all of you. Learning about you. I I thought I would tell others about who I am. I am a middle aged woman who loves to be on the water. Not so much in the water. I love the calm and peaceful ambiance paddling brings. I just g...

Recreational trip postings (was: Do you ever have outings..)

Do you ever have outings where you dont travel great distances?

I would love to do the long distance events, but I know I dont have that stamina yet, nor the correct kayak.

Man this sounds like a wonderful trip, but I think its a bit long for my first trip.

I really cannot wait to meet up with you all, but my weekends have been busy.

I have been to Prudence Island many times as a friend of mine has a place over there.

Have a great time.

After navigating this site I feel so green.

I am not sure how I would do on such rough waters.

I think I would first like to try something small.

Does the weather ever deter a ride?

I think I would like to attend the weekly thursday night classes.

Will it be in Hanson this week?

New Member saying hi...

My name is Laurie. I am excited to find a group so close to home. My concern is that I dont have all the fabulous kayaks or equipment as everyone else. I have two Keowee 10 footers. But they sure stay afloat. I am fairly new to this calming sport. I love to be floating on the water and taking in all...

Greetings

I am fairly new to kayaking. I tried it for the first time two years ago and fell in love with it. Being on the water, just being part of the ambiance(sp?) is so peaceful and calming. No speed or noise involved. I just dont get the jet ski thing..... I live in East Bridgewater. So far my favorite sp...
