I'll be there regardless. If its pouring out, early PPR. If not we'll play-paddle and then PPR :D

Thursday
Partly sunny. Patchy fog in the morning. Highs in the upper 70s. Southwest winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

Thursday Night
Cloudy. Showers and thunderstorms likely... mainly after midnight....

Looks to be pretty sporty out there tomorrow night... :P

I'm planning to be there for paddling and PPR...or just NPR (non-paddling refreshment) if the weather keeps us off the water.

I got buried at work almost as soon as I got back from vacation and cannot make either the paddle or the PPR! But I can see the harbor from my office so it will be like paddling without the boat and the water and the wind and the waves

I'll be marooned without a car until later in the evening, so its likely that I will not be at the beach in time. Watch the sky...right now the radar currently shows a front bearing down on the coast with what looks like some major energy and precip.

Looking at the doppler radar map on weather.com, it looks to me that the storm cells headed for Hingham are fizzling. So, I'm leaving work now to enjoy the traffic while trying to get to Hingham.

Hey, if it rains, there's a good opportunity for rainbow pictures!

Boy, you all missed a great night. Perfect conditions to paddle, and while we were out there, we ran into Tom Brady paddling around. He invited us to watch one of this season's games in the luxury box with the Krafts. Then when we got back to the beach, we ran into a Werner dealer who asked us to try out their new paddle proto-type for a few years and give them our opinion. It's made out of a new material that's super-stiff. The paddle is embedded with a vhf radio, gps and wide-screen tv, and it only weighs 18 oz. We were so excited we almost missed seeing the Swedish Bikini Team parachute in...

Hey Jordan, How's it going?

Seriously.... I'm always reading the posts, and definitely hope to join a paddle one of these days.... either Hingham, or some sort of recreational trip like the Spit, or that one where we stopped at the sofa beach..... loved that!

Hope to see you all soon......

If you post pics here is what I want to see - in this order

1. Swedish Bikini team
2. Magic Werner Paddle being used by Swedish Team
3. More of the Swedish Bikini team
4. Maybe, if it as really good shot, a picture of Hingham Harbor being savaged by a sever thunderstorm (with, of course, ths Swedish Bikini team in the foreground)

# 1 and 2 are interchangeable!

Sorry I missed it!

I took loads of photos of the Bikini Team, but I know how Bea feels about the Swedes, so I won't post any here.

However...

I sharpened the image so you can see that he's actually holding one of those Werner prototypes.

Ok gang! Tomorrow night should be beautiful!

Who's planning to join in on a fabulous night on the water?

If we have a large number I'll make a reservation at STARS, otherwise we'll wing it

Cheers,

I'm planning to be there for paddling and PPR. I'm too pooped to take my boat off the truck after our 20+ mile trip to the end of South Monomoy and back today.
