Hingham 5/28
Greetings all,
Starting a new thread for tonight's Hingham Paddle.
Not sure if I will be able to make it tonight, however I saw both Norm & Joy are interested.
I hope to be there if the day's scheduling permits.
Have a great day / paddle!

Humm, just got this posting. Looks breezy out my window. Will contemplate. If I do I will be there on time, so don't wait if I am a no show.

It was a beautiful night in Hingham for paddling. A little windy and a little threat of rain, but we stayed close to shore and went all the way through Hewitts Cove to Stoddard Neck till we could see the 3A bridge over the Weymouth Back River. It was just Bea, Ken and I for the 7.47 mile paddle. Here are a few pictures if I can remember how to manage resizing and uploading...
I made a mistake while writing the post the first time and now I can't seem to delete this section? Oh well, continue reading below.

All masked up for Covid19 Coronavirus protection while on the beach. (Most other people on the beach were not masked.)
Heading toward Weymouth.
On the way back, the sun came out bright as we paddled past that big mansion near the Hingham yacht club.
We continued to hug the shore to get out of the wind and found a little cove across from Ragged Island that none of us had noticed before. There was just enough room between the rocks for us to get in as the tide was falling. It was a nice 2 minute rest in there.
There was enough water for us to get out safely without loosing any gelcoat.
Bea was happy to get out safely after getting her boat all cleaned up this spring.
We noticed another huge house on the point as we were leaving the cove and wondered if it was a private home. I checked on Zillow and it does seem to be just a home. A 3.53 million dollar home - 3 bedrooms, 4 baths, 6400 square feet.
No PPR tonight. We need to come up with a parking lot PPR snack plan for the future. Sitting in a restaurant (when they re-open) does not seem appealing these days.

Great night on the water, and really fun to paddle into Hewitts Cove and other new discoveries we’ve never noticed. Thank you for coming out to play guys!

Bea asked me to add the picture that she took of me on the beach. I had enough trouble trying to edit last night, so I'll just add the picture here rather than try to add it above.
