SS Paddle this Sunday? (Quincy - Plymouth)

Post by kayakstew »

Anyone have anything in the works for this sunday? Looking to stay between beantown and the canal and late morning/noon is better than early morning.

Thanks!

Hi Stew,

I'm planning to join the RICKA paddle down the Charles & through the locks to the Barking Crab for lunch (sounds like Little Red Riding Hood, doesn't it?) and then back to the put in. RT estimated at 12 miles (plenty of distance to practice my stroke). 10:00 am start. You can find the trip posting at the RICKA site under Seakayaking/Barking Crab, with good chat on their general discussion bulletin board. It's not south of town, but it is on Sunday!

Barb,
I might go on the barking crab trip also, it depends on what my girls are up to on sunday. I will know later on this week. We'll see what happens.
