Wanted to do another trip to mary's pond in Rochester. very nice small pond for some easy flat water paddling.
Anyone that might like to join let me know when your free.

something i found out from deb is that if you kayak across lake rico there's a nice beach, i actually saw it but didn't approach, thinking it was private.

Yes, Lake Rico is Swimmable :)

I have a buddy who used to have skills and practice sessions there through Canoe Passage Outfitters.

Thank you, I had heard somewhere that rico was non swimmable. that it had some problems with bacteria and such.

Good to know. I heard it's a nice place to goto... shall we setup a trip there?

When I went to lake Rico earlier this summer there was a sign posted "No Swimming" at the launch site. This may be due to the fact that the run-off drain is close to the put-in. I saw some people swimming that day on the other side of the lake. Just a little friendly FYI

Friday the 30th, Marys pond in Rochester, say 5ish again?
