Cape Cod Pt3, Wednesday 20th July 2011

Post by Briggsy »

I plan to meet at Quisset Harbor about 8.30am and launch at 9am. There will some current in our favor through Woods Hole and a short window where there should be no ferries moving around. Once through Woods Hole we will follow the coast towards Washburn Island, ending at Whites Landing on the Childs River. Distance about 13 miles.
If you plan to come you should have a sea kayak with bulkheads, sprayskirt and some rescue skills. I don't know exactly how it will be through Woods Hole, maybe interesting!!
Let me know by Mon night if you are coming as I work till 10pm on Tuesday and want to finalize plans Monday night.
Cheers Briggsy

Wish I could join you, but got a doc's appt. that day. Watch out for the wind tomorrow, might be a bit breezy. At the bottom of Devil's Foot can be a little tricky, sometimes easier to go inside. Have fun off Nobska Point. Gif
